Early Childhood Internship
Students will intern in a daycare center or preschool. Students will assist caregivers with the daily care and delivery of developmentally appropriate activities for children between infancy and age five. Some time will be spent in the classroom exploring careers in early childhood, preparing a resume, and developing a resource file for child development.

- Gain real-world work experience;
- Understand how their future can be impacted by what they accomplish now in school;
- Research what they must know and be able to do to succeed in the field of early childhood education and experience;
- Learn what they can expect with regard to wages and employment potential;
- Develop career skills and competencies.
